Description: Comb-Morion Helmet or light helmet is possibly named for the Spanish morion anglicised from the Spanish word for helmet. They were in use from the 1530s through to the early seventeenth-century. They were commonly used by “Pike men” who would also often wear a cuirass, which was a chest or back plate.
